AN ORDINAL LOGISTIC REGRESSION MODEL FOR ANALYZING RISK ZONE STATUS OF COVID-19 SPREAD

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of virus that has been found to have infected human since it first appeared in Wuhan, China, December 2019. This study aims determine the factors influence risk zone status COVID-19 spread Indonesia using ordinal logistic regression. The regression model this uses proportional odds because researcher assumes probability predictor variable coefficients same for each respond category. response secondary data from Handling Task Force, namely who 4 categorical levels, high, medium, low, and no cases. Predictor variables are elderly population, referral hospital, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hand washing behavior, male smoking habits. Based on results analysis, significantly affect population mellitus. Odds figure shows higher percentage chance an area with high-risk (OR=1.171). comorbidities (OR=1.569).
